Product Engineer - Test Operations (Measurement Technology)

Responsible for leading measurement technology activities within the Chassis & Cab Test Operations team, ensuring high‑quality instrumentation aligned with global standards. Acts as a technical reference, supports testing activities, and contributes to reliable data generation for product development, while promoting collaboration, continuous improvement, and effective stakeholder communication.

The ideal candidate for this role will be the knowledge owner of best instrumentation practices in line with worldwide standards.

They will serve as an internal technical reference and must represent the CCTO team in technical forums.

Additionally, they will provide support to the technician who is responsible for the distribution of tasks among team technicians.

Key responsibilities include: Communicating with stakeholders and the CCTO team to establish the best ways of working to ensure high‑quality instrumentation work;

Providing technical support for daily activities and preparing instrumentation reports that will serve as background information for other units, both local and global;

Fostering a collaborative environment where team spirit is reinforced through daily actions.

Good communication skills and empathy are essential;

Being creative and proactive in proposing new approaches, especially when opportunities for waste reduction are identified;

Being available for international travel;

Being comfortable working in an intercultural environment;

The applicant must hold an Engineering degree.

A master’s degree is an advantage;

Strong knowledge of measurement technologies, hardware and data analysis;

General knowledge of vehicle systems;

Knowledge of material behavior and fatigue mechanisms;

Ability to organize and steer objective daily meetings while maintaining a positive and healthy environment.

English - Advanced/Fluent, both written and spoken.
