Product Engineer - Chassis & Cab | Test Operations ( Test Equipment Operations )

Responsible for maintaining and calibrating test equipment in compliance with standards, ensuring availability and reliability for testing activities. Acts as a technical reference in equipment management, supports audits, controls calibration plans and related processes, and contributes to efficient operations through organization, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for maintaining and calibrating measurement equipment in compliance with proper standards.

They will act as an internal technical reference and represent the CCTO team in technical forums, including both internal and external audits.

Key responsibilities include: Scheduling calibration plans for test equipment while ensuring minimal impact on the development testing timeline.

Keeping the usage status of all test equipment up to date;

Separating test equipment with their respective calibration certificates according to test setups and Test Engineer requests.

Identifying, sorting, and sending equipment to external suppliers for repair, or preparing it for disposal.

Controlling the budget for this purpose and tracking purchasing processes;

Fostering a collaborative environment where team spirit is reinforced through daily actions.

Good communication skills and empathy are essential;

Being creative and proactive in proposing new approaches, especially when opportunities for waste reduction are identified;

Being available for international travel;

Being comfortable working in an intercultural environment.

The applicant must hold an Engineering degree;

Advanced English is necessary for this position, both written and spoken;

Strong knowledge of measurement equipment, including its applications, maintenance requirements, and calibration environments;

Ability to analyze calibration certificates and maintenance reports;

Previous experience participating in audit processes.
